The ice rinks are now closed to the public. See you in autumn 2025!

Glide into the thick of it

Three ice rinks for different uses – major competitions, regional championships, training and teaching, and free skating: the Ice Centre meets the needs of clubs, their training requirements, schools and the general public.

    Discover the Ice Centre

The Ice Centre at the Vaudoise aréna consists of three ice rinks. The two indoor rinks have a surface area (60x30m) that meets the standards for official ice hockey, figure-skating and short-track competitions.

The arena has a capacity of 9600 spectators in match mode. Compact, semi-underground and designed to offer the public a perfect view, the arena hosted the Youth Olympic Games in January 2020. It has 13 boxes and a VIP area with restaurant, and houses a latest-generation videotron, as well as an LED circle and a 3D projection system on the ice for visual entertainment. The arena is equipped with a sound and lighting control room and all the equipment needed for high-definition multimedia recording and broadcasting.

The changing rooms for the Lausanne Hockey Club, visiting teams and referees, as well as all the sports facilities, meet the highest standards.

The second indoor rink, known as "Cooly", allows resident clubs and academies to train all year round and take part in competitions. It has bleachers for 300 people, adjoining changing rooms and a direct link to the changing rooms and ice surface of the main arena.

The third, outdoor ice surface is called "Yodli", after the 2020 Youth Olympic Games mascot. It is used for public skating, schools and resident club academies. Dimensions: 56x26m.
