On January 25 and 26, 2025, celebrate the 5th anniversary of the Lausanne 2020 Winter Youth Olympic Games (YOG) with a unique program on the Vaudoise aréna forecourt. Enjoy free, fun, and inclusive activities to relive the YOG spirit in a warm and festive atmosphere.

The weather might not be on our side, but the Silent Party is still happening! Join us inside the Vaudoise aréna, in the galleries of the iconic Lions' ice rink, to enjoy an unforgettable Silent Party in collaboration with Collectif 52!

Between dance moves, enjoy delicious food from Nas Lausanne’s food truck, offering chicken wraps, nuggets, and fresh salads!

• 6:15 PM: Headphone distribution begins
• 6:30 PM: Silent Party starts
• 10:00 PM: Silent Party ends

• 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM: Girls' hockey initiation on the arena led by the Girl Ice Hockey Association (registration here: Girls Ice Hockey Initiations in Lausanne).
• 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM: Enjoy all Saturday activities, plus a ski-jumping truck!
• 10:30 AM to 7:00 PM: Lace up your skates for free public skating on the outdoor Yodli rink (Weather permitting). Skate rental is subject to availability. We recommend bringing your own skates.

Practical Information

• Public skating on the outdoor Yodli rink will only be open in favorable weather conditions and within the rink’s safety capacity. In case of bad weather, the rink will be closed.
• Skate rentals are available on-site while supplies last, until 6:00 PM at the latest. If you have your own skates, we recommend bringing them.
• The Yodli outdoor rink will close at 7:00 PM.
• For small children, there will be no skating aids available during Sunday’s free skating day. Additionally, strollers will not be allowed on the Yodli rink. Strollers must be parked in a designated area.

How to get there

An undergraound car park with only 140 spaces is at your disposal, but they are not guaranteed. We strongly recommend utilizing public transportation for your convenience.

• Vaudoise aréna enjoys excellent connectivity, with frequent services from Prilly-Malley SBB station several times per hour (timetable: https://www.sbb.ch/fr/). 
• The M1 Prilly Malley metro station is just a short distance away from Vaudoise aréna. 
• Numerous bus stops are conveniently located in the vicinity of the arena (timetables: https://www.t-l.ch).
