







The Fencing Centre is equipped to cater for everyone who wants to practise this sport, from beginners to high-level competition, as well as for therapeutic purposes. Equipped with an innovative video system for tracking hits, all three weapons are used: epee, sabre and foil.
Founded in 1914 and boasting over 200 members, the Cercle des Armes de Lausanne offers a wide range of activities, from free beginners' courses to support for top athletes, including artistic and historical fencing, disability sports, sports therapy and laser sabre.
Supervised by two professional fencing masters, the club welcomes youngsters from the age of four in various progression categories, encouraging a mix of generations – people of all ages can join, and the oldest members are over 70 – all united by the desire to have fun, whether as a leisure activity or with a view to competition. The Cercle des Armes offers several inclusive programmes and supports athletes from the age of 14 up to the highest level of international competition.
Since 2017, the Cercle des Armes de Lausanne has organised an annual European qualifying competition for the European Championships.
There are beginners' courses all year round, open to all. Equipment provided by the club.
