On 16 and 17 January 2026, the Vaudoise aréna in Lausanne will host the highly anticipated Women’s Final Four.

Friday will feature the two semi-finals of the Women’s National Cup, while Saturday will determine the medal winners: a midday match will decide the bronze medal, followed by an intense final crowning the 2026 National Cup champion.

Don’t miss one of the highlights of women’s ice hockey in Switzerland and experience the showdown between the country’s top teams competing for this prestigious national title.

    About the Women’s National Cup

The Women’s National Cup aims to shine a spotlight on Swiss women’s ice hockey and give it greater visibility. All women’s teams in the country are invited to take part in this competition, which this year brings together 36 teams:

    • 10 teams from SWHL-D
    • 9 teams from SWHL-C
    • 9 teams from SWHL-B
    • 8 teams from the PostFinance Women’s League

The competition format encourages matchups that cross regional and league-level boundaries, offering new and exciting duels. The Final Four weekend in Lausanne — featuring both semi-finals and the final — is a highlight of the season, with the ambition of establishing it as a major annual event dedicated to women’s ice hockey.
