    VA Padel Slam tournement

    Tournament registrations are now closed!
    Many of you were quick to sign up with your partners – the tournament is officially full! A big thank you for your enthusiasm.

    We look forward to seeing many of you between 9 a.m. and 1 p.m. to enjoy free access to the padel courts, accompanied by experienced coach Ruben Gallego, who will be available to teach you the basics, help improve your technique, and take your game to the next level!

    The Vaudoise aréna Padel Centre reopened its doors in early April, and to kick off the season in style, we’re launching the very first edition of the VA Padel Slam tournament!
    Grab your partner and join us on Saturday, May 10, for a shot at the title!

    9:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.: Free introductory sessions
    Come and discover padel for free—whether on your own, with friends, or with family! No need to sign up in advance: simply show up and add your name to the list.

    Led by Ruben Gallego, an experienced coach, these sessions will help you learn the basics, improve your skills, or fine-tune your game in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. Whether you're a complete beginner or looking to take your play to the next level, he'll be there to guide you.

    1:30 p.m. – 7:30 p.m.: Tournament

    Come take on other duos in this first popular tournament organized by the Vaudoise aréna!

    • Form your team: 2 players
    • Registration: CHF 40.–/player
    • Limited spots: 8 teams max (16 players)
    • Prizes:
      • 2 tickets for the Gonet Geneva Open (May 23, 2025) offered by Vaudoise Assurances
      • Consolation prizes also up for grabs!

    Tournament Format

    Group Stage: 2 groups of 4 teams followed by a final phase (semi-finals and finals)
    → 3 matches of 20 minutes + 5 minutes warm-up
    → In case of a tie: sudden-death tiebreak (Super Punto de Oro)
    Final Phase: Semi-finals and final played in 1 winning set, always with Super Punto de Oro


    Each team is guaranteed to play 5 matches!

    Parallel Activities

    In addition to padel, our pickleball and 3x3 basketball courts will be available for free access.

    If you're feeling hungry, the Spot Café restaurant will be open and will be happy to serve you.


    Information

    • Max. 8 teams of 2 players (16 participants total)
    • Each team plays 5 matches
    • Format: Group stage with 2 pools of 4 teams, followed by knockout rounds (semi-finals and finals)
      • Group stage: Each team plays 3 matches (5 min warm-up + 20 min match). If the match ends in a tie (e.g. 4–4), a sudden-death game with Super Punto de Oro will be played.
      • Knockout stage: Best of 1 set with Super Punto de Oro.
    • Entry fee: CHF 40 per player
    • Winner’s prize: 2 single tickets for the Gonet Geneva Open on Friday, May 23, 2025, offered by our naming partner Vaudoise Assurance
    • Consolation prizes also offered by our naming partner

    Alongside the padel tournament, our pickleball and 3x3 basketball courts will be freely accessible—something for everyone to enjoy!

    Getting There

    • A parking area with 140 spaces is available. However, we strongly encourage the use of public transport.
    • The Vaudoise aréna is easily accessible several times an hour via the CFF Prilly-Malley train station (timetable: https://www.sbb.ch/en/).
    • It is also just a few minutes away from the M1 metro stop "Prilly Malley."
    • Bus stops operated by the Lausanne public transport network (TL) are located around the arena (timetable: https://www.t-l.ch).
