    Ice skating day

Skate for Free and Discover Ice Sports!

Enjoy a free day of skating at the Vaudoise Aréna, just minutes from Lausanne!
All three ice rinks – the Main Arena, the Cooly (indoor rink), and the Yodli (outdoor rink) – will be open to celebrate the start of the winter season.

Exceptionally, the Main Arena will be open to the public — a rare opportunity to skate (and dance!) on the legendary ice usually reserved for LHC hockey games and major events.

Whether you're coming with family, friends, or on your own, glide into the fun and discover a variety of ice sports in a warm and festive atmosphere during this year's Ice Day celebration.

    On the program

    • Free skating on all three rinks throughout the day
    • Introductory sessions in short track, figure skating, synchronized skating, and broomball
    • Shows and demonstrations by the Lausanne Malley Skating Club and the Swiss Broomball Association
    • Disco on Ice from 5 PM to 7 PM in the Main Arena: music, lights, and a festive vibe to end the day in style
    • Gourmet Chalets on the esplanade next to the outdoor rink
    • And plenty of other activities throught the day!
