40th Edition of the 24-Hour Swim
A sporting and charitable challenge open to everyone

The 24 Hours of Swimming return to the Vaudoise aréna! A popular, festive, and solidarity-driven event, open to all: you only need to be able to swim 50 meters without assistance to take part!

Since 1984, this unique challenge has brought together the people of Lausanne to support a good cause while taking on an aquatic challenge — day and night. Whether you are a beginner or an experienced swimmer, alone, with family, friends, or colleagues, the goal is simple: accumulate as many swimming kilometers as possible in 24 hours, because CHF 1 per kilometer will be donated by Lausanne Aquatique to the charity Planètes Enfants Malades, supporting hospitalized children.

Whether you come with your family, your club, your friends, or your colleagues, this event is designed to bring people together and offer a truly unique sporting experience.

    Participation Conditions

    • Free participation (except for the corporate challenge)
    • Open to anyone able to swim at least 50m unaided (e.g. without armbands)
    • No minimum age or time limits required
    • Registration online (recommended) or on-site
